Production capacity
Original production capacity of 45 000 tons is a fact of the past. As a result of a wide reconstruction its annual capacity was increased up to 100 000 tons of finished malt out of which approx. 80 % is exported. Implemented quality management system certified in accordance with international standard ISO 9001:2001 is one of the main conditions for the production and sale of high quality malt. In spring 2007 the system was extended by the Environmental Management System (certified according to ISO 14001) and Safety at Work System (certified according to OHSAS 18001).

Modern production technology
Current production technology conforms to generally accepted standards. All processes are computer controlled. Steeping plant consists of three steeping lines with a batch size of 230 tons of barley each. Steeping tanks equipment enables intensive aeration, mixing of barley by compressed air and CO2 exhausting. Germinating section consists of eight Saladin boxes equipped with modern air conditioning and cooling system. Germination takes five days. Malting plant has two new circular kilns working in tandem regime. Kilns are indirectly heated.
